1. Festival of Lights 2022
We’ve been waiting for the Festival of Lights for almost 365 days! This festival, a true emblem of Lyon, is a tradition for the inhabitants ! Like every year, during 4 consecutive nights, the city will be illuminated thanks to the Festival of Lights.
The festivities take place mainly in the Old Town (Vieux-Lyon), in the Presqu’île (Bellecour, Terreaux, Jacobins…) but also in the Tête d’Or Park, in the Sergent Blandan Park or in the Subs.
This year, it is the Parc de la Tête d’Or that will host the Lumignons du Coeur to benefit the Salvation Army Foundation. 💚
2. Mirror Mountain by Nicolas Ticot (XLR Project)
For the past 10 years, ComhiC has sponsored a piece of work exhibited during the Festival of Lights. In 2021, we were the sponsor of Caty Olive’s work (that you can found here) which was located right in front of our store! This year, we are happy to sponsored the work of XLR Project (Nicolas Ticot) called “Mirror Mountain“! You can find it on the Place Bellecour ! Take a picture of yourself in front of it and send us your best shots on Facebook or Instagram => @comhic_segwaytour_lyon 😍

4. Access & Parking
If you are coming to Lyon to celebrate the Festival of Lights, we advise you to use the public transport. Special rates are offered to allow you to travel freely during the 4 days of the Festival.
On the other hand, if you come by car, be careful, some parking lots are closed during the festivities. The easiest way is to park outside the perimeter of the festival and then take the metro, tramway or bus.
Finally, during the Festival of Lights, the Segway Team will distribute programs of the festival and indicate the must-see piece of works. We’ll be at the four corners of the Festival so if you see us, come and say hello! 👋🏻
