Segway “Croix-Rousse” Tour 1h30

The “Croix-Rousse” Segway tour will make you discover the famous Canuts, emblematic figures of the “Lyonnaises” silks. In the 19th century, the Croix-Rousse was called the “working hill” where the noise of the weaving looms was part of daily life. Today we also feel a particular atmosphere which is specific to the area. To enjoy the numerous points of view on Lyon, you have to master your Segway to climb up the Croix-Rousse hills and reach the summit.

To make this ride even more special, we use funny machines called Segway Personal Transporter. The Segway PT is an electric vehicule composed of two parallel wheels and a reclining handelbar. Full of electronic, the machine balances thanks to the “dynamic stabilization” system. To move forward, you don’t need any acceleration pedal, you just have to lean forward and to move back or brake, you just have to lean backwards. Regarding the direction, the handlebar leans from left to right.

Cancellation policy : 

• Departure is guaranteed and maintained in case of rain except if cancellation is notified 48 hours before.
• Beyond 15 minutes of delay, the booking is cancelled and won’t be reimbursed. The guide will leave with the ret of the group.
