We are not Paris, the City of Love, but we have nothing to envy it! The banks of Saône river and its beautiful colored buildings remind us of the Italian charm. The ideal place for a romantic ride. For more comfort, we suggest you to rent an electric bike.
Are you looking for a nice place to rest? Cécile’s favorite location is the Île Barbe! 😍 It’s a little piece of Heaven, only a few minutes away from the city center of Lyon. So, hop on your ebike and let’s go. Ride along the Saône river to discover the most beautiful views of Lyon and arrive in this beautiful green setting.
We won’t lie to you, on February 14th, it’s not necessarily very hot but, for the bravest, you can plan a little romantic picnic!

2) Discover the Traboule in the old town

If there is one area in Lyon where you can get closer, it is the Vieux-Lyon (Old Town)! Narrow streets with cobblestones, beautiful colored buildings, sumptuous inner courtyards… All the lights are green to spend a romantic moment between you. Don’t follow a precise itinerary, just stroll together and get lost in this pretty neighborhood.
Our lover of Love, Mélanie, advises you to take the famous Traboules! You don’t know what they are? They are passages between buildings that link one street to another. And you know what? There are almost 500 of them in Lyon! So you have a lot to do 😂

- 6 rue des Trois Maries (stop to buy the Pralus shop to by a sweet)
- 2 place du Gouvernement
- 16 rue du Boeuf
Little advice: many traboules are closed in the afternoon. If you want to discover them, choose a morning itinerary.

If you’re in Lyon for the day, going to Fourvière is a MUST! Going there by foot is good; going there on a Segway is better 🤪 Add some spice to your romantic ride!
